Why work with me?
I’m an experienced manager, writer and corporate communications professional, passionate about helping innovative leaders and purpose-driven organisations to communicate with impact, in a way that makes a difference, to the bottom line and society.
I’m used to working in fast-paced environments of constant change, managing multiple issues and stakeholders.
My consultancy background gives me a strong client focus, along with a proven ability to lead and develop teams.
My 20 plus years’ experience as a communications advisor has centred around reputation building for professional service firms, explaining the power of new technology to shape the future, and social impact – from leading multiple public information campaigns for the Australian Government, to reinforcing Deloitte Australia’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Moving to Australia in 2002, I continued working for PR agencies, advising clients predominantly in government, technology and professional services.
I developed multiple B2B and corporate communication strategies and managed media relations and profile building for professional service firms including Grant Thornton, Human Synergistics and Woods Bagot.
I wrote dozens of government tenders and developed stakeholder engagement and public information campaigns for multiple Australian Government departments, including the Department of Health and the Department of Social Services.
In 2012, I joined and subsequently led the communications and corporate affairs team of global professional services firm, Deloitte.
As the national leader of Deloitte Australia’s media and corporate communications team, I built and protected Deloitte’s reputation as one of the world’s leading professional services firms.
I provided strategic communications advice to successive CEOs and the firm’s Innovation, Talent (HR) and Corporate Social Responsibility teams to help elevate Deloitte’s brand purpose. I integrated the corporate affairs team into the marketing function and built the foundations for a content marketing team.
I worked closely with Deloitte Consulting’s enterprise technology practice, working with Deloitte’s global and Australian technology alliances including AWS, Adobe, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and Workday. And I built profile for Deloitte’s human capital practice, exploring the future of work through reports such as Human Capital Trends and the Millennials Survey.
Another highlight was managing external and internal change communications for 18 Deloitte Consulting acquisitions between 2017 and 2020.
I left Deloitte in March 2021 and am currently providing copywriting and performance reporting advice to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
